Silicone heaters can be made in various shapes, sizes and thicknesses, which are ideal for rugged applications, and are resistant to moisture and chemical corrosion. Silicone heating elements are light and soft, capable of operating at surface temperatures of up to 450°F (230C). Silicone heaters can be easily designed to accommodate various components such as thermostats, thermal fuses, thermocouples, thermistors, RTDs, or special wiring harnesses.

 

By using adhesives, fasteners or RTV, the silicone heater can be easily connected to the device on your device. We also specialize in factory vulcanization, in which the heater uses heat and pressure to directly bond to the part, saving customers time while also providing excellent bonding to flat and geometrically complex surfaces.

 

Our manufacturing process

 

We use etched foil or resistance wire to make silicone heaters. The aluminum foil silicone heating element is made using metal foil laminated on a silicone rubber sheet. The sheet is then printed with the desired circuit pattern, and then chemically etched to leave the printed pattern. Then another layer of silicone rubber is vulcanized on top of the circuit. In the winding heating element, one to five resistance wires are wound together and then formed on top of the silicone rubber layer in the desired circuit pattern. Put another layer of silicone rubber on the element to seal the heater.

 

We offer a variety of options to ensure that the required performance characteristics are met. Thermostat, thermistor, special lead configuration, insulating foam layer, dual voltage output, positioning holes and cutouts are just a few ways to customize the heater to meet your specific needs.
