Hot Runner Coil Heater Technology

A successful hot runner mold application needs several aspects to be protected. Among the most important are two technical factors. First, the plastic temperature control, and second, plastic flow control.

 

1. Plastic temperature control

 

In the hot runner mold plastic temperature control is extremely important. Many production processes appear and product quality

 

The problem comes directly from the hot runner system temperature control is not good. Such as the use of hot-pin gate injection molding process when the poor quality of the product gate valve gate valve injection molding process is difficult to close the problem, multi-cavity mold filling parts of the time and inconsistent quality problems. If possible, hot runner systems with multi-zone temperature control should be selected to increase flexibility and adaptability.

 

2. Plastic flow control

FAMILY MOLD, for which the weight of the parts is very different, is to be balanced in the size of the runner. Otherwise there will be some parts filling mold packing is not enough, and some parts are over mold packing pressure, the flash is too large and poor quality problems. Hot runner runner size design should be reasonable. Too small size mold pressure loss is too large. Too large size of the hot runner is too large, plastic hot runner system in the residence time is too long, damage to the material properties of the parts can not meet the requirements after forming.
