The electric heating tube is also called the metal tubular electric heating element. Its structure is that the spring heating wire is uniformly distributed along the central axis of the tube. The gap between the heating wire and the metal sheath is filled and compacted with magnesium oxide powder with good insulation and thermal conductivity. The port is sealed with a sealing material, and the terminals at both ends of the tube are used for wiring. The electric heating tube has one end connection and two ends connection from the end connection.

 

The composition of the electric heating tube:

 

1. Jacketing tube; there are metal and non-metal materials, it has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and pressure resistance. It can directly contact the heated body or indirectly transfer heat through the medium.

2. Heating element; using alloy heating wire, high temperature resistant iron chromium aluminum heating wire and vibration resistant nickel chromium heating wire.

3. Thermal conductive material; magnesium oxide powder with excellent insulation and thermal conductivity, isolates the heating element from contacting the air and limits its displacement; isolates the heating element from contacting the jacket tube, and the surface of the tube body is not charged.

4. Insulation sealing material; effectively prevent the heating wire and magnesium oxide powder from absorbing moisture and ensuring the excellent electrical insulation performance of the electric heating tube; because of the absorption of too much moisture, when the electric heating tube is energized, the moisture will evaporate into gas and the gas will accumulate Swelling can easily lead to tube bursting.

5. Wiring post: The wiring post is mostly made of iron, stainless steel, and copper, which is used as the medium for connecting the power cord and the heating element.

6. Fastening accessories with national standard threads, hexagonal threaded fasteners, flat flanges, limit stoppers and non-standard customized parts.

 

What is the heating element in the electric heating tube?

 

The heating element of the electric heating tube is an electric heating wire, mainly iron-chromium-aluminum and nickel-chromium alloy wires. Iron-chromium-aluminum is cheaper, generally without special instructions, iron-chromium-aluminum alloy wires are used in electric heating tubes. Nickel-chromium alloy wire is more expensive. The difference between the two wires: the working temperature of iron-chromium-aluminum alloy materials can reach 1400 , which is enough to meet the needs of electric heating tubes. However, nickel-chromium wire has good flexibility and good oxidation resistance, while iron-chromium-aluminum wire is more brittle. From this point, we can get the existence of one of the basic structures of the electric heating tube.
